被媒體封為「魔鬼辯護人」的人權律師列雅澤梅爾，在將近五十年的職業生涯中傾力對抗以色列司法系統，只為讓巴勒斯坦人能獲得公平審判。面對不友善的媒體環境、未審先判的執法者偏見、不合程序的刑求偵訊，甚至死亡威脅，列雅始終堅毅不屈，就算屢戰屢敗，也依然要站在改革司法最前線。

以一起十三歲男孩涉入的街頭刺殺攻擊案為引，全片藉由列雅為案件奔走的過程，還原以色列司法系統的現實景況，穿梭以巴衝突歷史，並細究族群仇恨與偏見如何在法院現場具體現形。兩位導演亦為列雅的多年密友，貼身記錄她高齡七十卻仍親上火線的身影，電影情感豐沛，不僅是議題側寫，更為被攝者建立有稜有角的人物形象。

瑞秋莉亞瓊斯，生於美國加州，成長於以色列。曾任導演、製片與剪輯師，長期以紀實影像關注以巴衝突。2012年以《吉普賽吉他王》入選日舞影展。

菲利普貝爾萊齊，1967年生於法國巴黎，知名攝影師。活躍於紀錄片領域，攝影作品包含《虛擬公路 181》、《吉普賽吉他王》等。《魔鬼辯護人》為其首部執導的紀錄長片。

Rachel Leah Jones is a critically acclaimed documentary director and producer whose work focuses on Israel/Palestine. Her directing credits include500 Dunam on the Moon (2002),Ashkenaz (2007),Targeted Citizen (2010) and Gypsy Davy (2012).

Philippe Bellaïche is an award-winning DP who has worked on around 40 documentary features and shorts. His credits include Between Fences (2016),The Settlers (2016),The Flat (2012) and Gypsy Davy (2012).
